Biografia:
Smith Westerns é uma banda indie de Chicago, Illinois. Suas influências musicais vão de David Bowie, Marc Bolan e T. Rex.
Seu álbum de estréia auto-intitulado, foi lançado em HoZac Records em 05 de junho de 2009. Grande parte do álbum foi gravado durante o inverno e início da primavera no porão da casa de Max Kakacek.
Eles lançaram um novo single, "Weekend" em 04 de novembro de 2010, música que faz parte do álbum “Dye It Blonde”, lançado em 18 de janeiro de 2011.
