A banda é oriunda de Tifton, Georgia os membros fundadores são Michael Johnston (guitarra/voz), Danny Stephens (teclas) e Byron Goggin (bateria).
Os actuais membros são Michael Johnston(guitarra/voz), Troy Stains(guitarra), Alex Peterson(guitarra baixa) e Matt Goldman(bateria).
Alcançaram sucesso no seu primeiro álbum(Smalltown Poets) lançado em 1997. Já lançaram mais 3 albuns mas neste momento a banda está parada.
