Biografia:
Slayer é uma banda de thrash metal formada nos Estados Unidos da América. Começou a ser formada em 1981 pelos guitarristas Kerry King e Jeff Hanneman, que juntos a Tom Araya, baixista, e ao baterista Dave Lombardo, fundaram o que seria uma das bandas pioneiras no thrash metal mundial. A origem de seu nome pode ser traduzida como "carrasco" ou "matador" ao contrário do que dizem, não foi baseado no filme chamado "Dragon Slayer", o próprio Kerry King confirmou isto.
