Os Sigue Sigue Sputnik surgiram nos anos 80, tendo um visual extravagante, colorido, exuberante, de tal forma diferente, que ninguém poderia ficar indiferente à sua presença.
Os vídeos das suas músicas eram igualmente coloridos, com muita electrónica pelo meio, muita velocidade, eram realmente inovadores e provocadores, ao seu estilo, e faziam com que o direito à diferença fosse entre eles, omnipresente...
