C’est chez l’un des personnages du dessin animé La famille pirate que cet étrange pseudonyme prend sa source. Faut dire que Scampi ( la fille ) passait mieux que Bigorneau ( le fils ).
Depuis septembre 2008, accompagnée du clinquant Sheldon - le uk’ - Scampi gratte la corde et s’amuse à reprendre des tubes de Lily Alen, Beirut ou Kid Cudi en version homemade, un bonnet sur la tête, les orteils sous la couette. C’est en laissant trainer Des vidéos sur youtube que Scampi a suscité l’intérêt.

A 'ukulele is a basically a guitar with a capo on the 5th, without the top (E, A)
strings. If you want this to sound like the original and don't own a 'ukulele you can
transpose down 5 half steps and play those chords with a capo on the 5th, only using the
bottom 4 strings. Easy as 1-2-3 ;)
If you're on the guitar playing regular chords without the transpose tool, you don't
have to play the Em^. It's just a transitional chord that's optional, and not playing it
won't change the tuning/key or get you off-tempo.
Em^ on the uke = move your 3rd finger up a string as a transition
