Biografia:
Nascida em 31 de agosto de 1976, em Mazatlan - Sinaloa, México. Sara Ramirez, além de uma talentosa atriz, é uma excelente cantora! Em 2005, protagonizou um musical da Broadway chamado "Spamalot", produtores da ABC foram assistir ao espetáculo e fizeram uma proposta à Sara: se gostaria de participar de alguma das séries da ABC e lhe deram o privilégio de escolher. Como já acompanhava Grey's Anatomy, escolheu a série. Então, passou a fazer parte do elenco na 2ª temporada, como a ortopedista Callie Torres.
