Saosin é uma banda de post-hardcore formada em 2003 em Newport Beach, Califórnia, Estados Unidos, pelos integrantes e amigos Beau Burchell, Justin Shekoski, Zach Kennedy e Anthony Green. O nome da banda veio de uma idéia de Anthony que se lembrou de um antigo provérbio chinês do século XV, Saosin é igual a ( xiao xin') que significa "coração pequeno". Esse provérbio consiste em um conselho que um pai dava ao seu filho antes do casamento
