Biografia:
Sam Gopal (também chamado Sam Gopal's Dream) foi uma banda britânica underground de Psychedelic rock. A banda foi nomeada pelo seu fundador, Sam Gopal, nascido na Malásia. A partir dos sete anos de idade, ele tocou tabla, um instrumento de percussão norte-indiano, que substituiu bateria na banda. Escalator é o único álbum da banda Sam Gopal, lançado em 1969 na pequena gravadora Stable Records. A banda também lançou um single "Horse", no B-side de Willie Dixon chamada "Back Door Man"
