Biografia:
Roman Lob nasceu no dia 2 de julho de 1990 em Neustadt, Alemanha. Seu primeiro contato com a música foi através de seu avô, que tocava orgão na igreja. Durante a infância, aprendeu a tocar piano e fez parte do coral de sua escola. Em 2005, fundou, com dois amigos, a banda Painful Poison, na qual era o baterista. Sua primeira aparição pública foi em 2007, no Deutschland sucht den Superstar, a versão alemã do Idol. Roman conseguiu ficar entre os dez finalistas, mas teve que desistir da competição devido a uma laringite.
