Biografia:

Nascido Richard Steven Valenzuela, Ritchie Valens viveu em Miami, Califórnia, em um pequeno bairro. Desde muito já entrou nas principáis rádios Americanas com suas Músicas, "Come On, Let's Go" e "Donna".

Em uma Viagem ao Mexico com seu Irmão, aprendeu a tocar uma música folclorica, La Bamba,
fazendo em seguida uma versão em rock da música La Bamba, que acabou se tornando sua música mais conhecida.

Outros sucessos de Ritchie Valens são "Ooh! My Head" e o cover de "We Belong Together".
