Biografia:
Formado em Los Angeles, em 1998, o Rilo Kiley é Jenny Lewis e mais Blake Sennet, Pierre de Reeder e Jason Boesel. Depois de três anos tocando em buracos e toda sorte de lugares e biroscas, o RK conseguiu lançar seu primeiro disco, chamado Take Offs And Landings, através de um contrato com o selo independente Barsuk Records, o mesmo de Nada Surf e Death Cab For Cutie.
Logo ficou evidente o carisma da vocalista ruivinha que dava o mimo pop para as guitarrices indie que Sennet capitaneava.
