Biografia:
Randy Crawford nasceu em 18 de Fevereiro de 1952, em Macon, Georgia, e sua notoriedade veio através de seu vocal impetuoso na faixa Street Life em conjunto com os The Cruzaders que foi incluído no soundtrack de Sharks Machine de Burt Reynolds. Apesar de ter nascido em Macon, cresceu em Cincinatti e trabalhou em clubes em companhia de seu pai. Crawford foi vocalista de uma banda acompanhada pelo baixista Bootsy Colins antes de acompanhar George Benson, em 1972, em seu show de abertura Opening Act.
