Biografia:
Rachael Yamagata é cantora, compositora e pianista. Nasceu em 23 de Setembro de 1977, em Arlington, Virginia - EUA. Ela é Yonsei, tendo ascendência japonesa por parte paterna, e italo-germânica por parte materna.
Começou sua carreira como vocalista da banda Bumpus. Já tendo trabalhado com artistas como Jason Mraz, Rhett Miller, Ryan Adams, Bright Eyes, Ray Lamontagne, dentre outros.
Rachael possui três discos de estúdio: Happenstance (2004), Elephants.
