Biografia:
Com sede em Hamburgo Project Pitchfork começou em 1989, pricipalmente inspirado por artistas eletrônicos da New Wave como Ultravox, The Human League, SPK e outros. Outra influência foi o movimento da New age, que incluiu artistas como Jean-Michel Jarre e Vangelis. Na primeira metade da década de 1990, Pitchfork havia se tornado um dos grupos musicais mais populares da alemanha.
