Poe é o nome artístico da cantora, produtora e compositora de rock norte-americana, Annie Decatur Danielewski. Filha do diretor polonês Tad Danielewski e da atriz Priscilla Machold. Nasceu nos Estados Unidos em 23 de março de 1968, e seu nome artístico foi baseado, obviamente, no escritor Edgar Alan Poe. Poe não nega a origem de seu nome artístico, tendo como características em suas produções a sonoridade sombria, o humor inteligente e implícito somados a versatilidade vocal bastante única.
