Biografia:
Peter Schilling nasceu em Stuttgart, na Alemanha, no dia 29 de janeiro de 1956. Quando adolescente, Schilling resolveu que seria um jogador de futebol ou um músico. A segunda opção venceu e em 1983 lançou seu primeiro álbum, Error in the System. Deste álbum vem a canção Major Tom (Coming Home). A canção, maior sucesso do alemão, chegou ao primeiro lugar das paradas norte-americanas, se tornando em hit instantâneo em qualquer balada oitentista e transformando Schilling em um ´one-hit wonder´.
