This is a key that Pete has played this song in. Now, when he breaks and whistles,
I don't think he is playing the same chords. It's so quiet it's hard to tell, but what I have written goes well
with the melody.

Am Dm Em
From way up here the earth looks very small,
Dm Em Dm Em
It's just a little ball of rock and sea and sand,
Am
No bigger than my hand.

Am Dm Em
From way up here the earth looks very small,
Dm Em
They shouldn't fight at all
Em Am
Down there upon that little sphere.

Chorus:
B C#m B C#m
Their time is short, a life is just a day,
B Em
You'd think they'd find a way.
Am
You'd think they'd get along
Em Am
And fill their sunlit days with song.

Whistling:
A D B E C# F# Bm

Am Dm Em
From way up here the earth is very small,
Dm Em
It's just a little ball,
Am
so small, so beautiful and dear.

Chorus:
B C#m B C#m
Their time is short, a life is just a day,
B Em
Must be a better way
Am
To use the time that runs
Em Am
among the distant suns.

Am Dm Em
From way up here the earth is very small,
Dm Em
It's just a little ball,
Am
so small, so beautiful and dear
