Biografia:
Paradise Lost é uma banda inglesa de doom/death metal. Contudo, aos poucos, o som da banda foi se tornando mais leve, aproximando-se do Heavy e do Gothic Metal. Formada em 1988, é conterrânea de similares como Anathema e My Dying Bride, ela formou a base do gothic metal e foi uma das bandas responsáveis pelo surgimento do sub-estilo death/doom metal.O nome da banda refere-se ao épico poema “Paradise Lost” escrito pelo escritor inglês John Milton.
