Orla Gartland é cantora/compositora irlandesa de Dublin que ganhou popularidade postando covers no YouTube. Gartland descreve sua música como folk pop, influenciada principalmebte por Joni Mitchell, Regina Spektor e Imogen Heap. Em 11 de novembro de 2013, Orla lançou o EP Roots, com 4 faixas. A música "Roots" foi nomeada "Single of the Week" no iTunes da Irlanda e do Reino Unido.
