Biografia:
Northcote é o projeto do cantor e compositor Matt Goud. Uma voz única na estética ampla do cenário musical canadense, Goud não é estranho no movimento musical com anos de turnê norte-americana em um grupo de post-hardcore onde começou sua carreira enquanto estava no ensino médio. Dado que o grupo se separou, em novembro de 2008, Goud seguiu uma série de diferentes trajetórias pessoais e musicais, que levam à chegada de seu trabalho solo de estréia, um EP intitulado Borrowed Chords, Tired Eyes (Black Box, 2009).
