Biografia:
O Noah and the Whale, banda de Richmond upon Thames, Londres, consiste em Charlie Fink (vocais, violão) e seu irmão Doug Fink (bateria) e os artistas posteriormente adicionados Tom Hobden (violino) e Matt "Urby Whale" Owens (baixo e acordeão). Após alguns singles (EPs), foi lançado o debut "Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down" em Agosto 2008, momento em que a banda já tinha alguns fãs ao redor do mundo por seus clipes na web (como o famigerado "5 Years Time").
