Biografia:
Nirvana foi uma banda de grunge fundada no ano de 1987 em Aberdeen, Estados Unidos, cidade vizinha a Seattle, que fazia parte do circuito underground, juntamente à cena de Portland.
Sua música foi inspirada no Punk Rock e no Rock Alternativo e foi chamada "Grunge" pela imprensa e meios de comunicação da época (termo que todas as bandas da época rejeitavam). O grupo se desfez em 1994 com a morte de seu líder, Kurt Cobain.
