Biografia:
Nicky Wire, nome artístico de Nicholas Allen Jones ( Nascido em Blackwood, em 20 de Janeiro de 1969), é o baixista, letrista e ocasional vocalista/backing vocal da banda britânica Manic Street Preachers. Ele é o responsável pelas letras de grandes hits como "A Design For Life" e "If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next".
Em 25 de Setembro de 2006, Wire lançou um álbum solo paralelo aos compromissos com a banda, chamado "I Killed The Zeitgeist".
