Biografia:
Anton Szandor LaVey, nascido Howard Stanton Levey (11 de abril de 1930 - 29 de outubro de 1997), fundou a Igreja de Satã no ano de 1966 em San Francisco, Califórnia, EUA. Além de líder da primeira organização abertamente satânica da história, LaVey também trabalhou como músico, fotógrafo forense, ocultista e domador de feras em circos.
Pouco depois do seu nascimento, a família de Anton decide deixar Chicago e mudar-se para a baía de S. Francisco.
