Madcon é uma banda norueguesa que alcançou fama internacional devido ao sucesso internacional de " Beggin' ". O duo ganhou um World Music Award, vendendo milhões de singles e CDs, além de ter realizado uma turnê por toda a Europa.
Em 2009, a banda continuou com lançamentos de álbuns por toda a Europa, além de ter estreado nos EUA e Austrália.
O estilo musical de Madcon é descrito com uma mistura de retro-urbano, com influências de funk, soul e hip hop (com elementos adicionais de reggae, latino-Africano e influências musicais).
