Biografia:
Assim como o The Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth e The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine redefiniu o significado de barulho dentro do contexto das composições pop. Formada em 1984 e liderada pelo guitarrista Kevin Shields, a banda lançou vários EPs em meados dos anos 80 antes de gravar o Isn't Anything em 1988, uma gravação que fundiu cadenciadas e etéreas melodias dos Cocteau Twins com uma esmagadora, forte e cintilante distorção.
