Michael Franks (nascido em 18 de setembro 1944 em La Jolla, Califórnia) é um cantor de jazz suave e compositor do Estados Unidos. He has recorded with a Who's Who of artists, such as Patti Austin , Brenda Russell , Art Garfunkel , and David Sanborn . Gravou com a Who's Who de artistas como Patti Austin, Brenda Russel, Art Garfunkel, e David Sanborn. His songs have been recorded by The Manhattan Transfer , Patti Labelle , Carmen McRae , Diana Krall , and The Carpenters .
