Biografia:
Metric é uma banda originalmente formada em Nova Iorque, EUA, porém atuante no Canadá. A banda tem como integrantes a vocalista Emily Haines, o guitarrista James Shaw, o baixista Josh Winstead e o baterista Joules Scott-Key.
Seu primeiro álbum foi o Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?, lançado em 2003. O segundo foi Live It Out lançado em 2005 e indicado para o Polaris Music Prize de 2006 para a categoria de melhor álbum canadense do ano, obteve também uma indicação de melhor álbum no Juno Awards (Premiação Canadense).
