Biografia:

Metallica é uma banda de Thrash Metal fundada em 1981 em Los Angeles, Califórnia e fazem parte do denominado Big Four Of Thrash juntamente com Megadeth, Slayer e Anthrax.

Lars Ulrich, que tinha se mudado da Dinamarca aos Estados Unidos na companhia do pai Torben Ulrich, um tênista profissional, e estava muito empolgado com a New Wave Of British Metal e bandas como Iron Maiden e Diamond Head, levando estes conceitos para os EUA. Lá ele conheceu James Hetfield e Dave Mustaine, e chamaram também o baixista Ron McGovney.
