Biografia:
Melvins é uma banda de rock formada em Montesano, Washington nos Estados Unidos no meio dos anos 80. A música da banda é difícil de rotular, pois mistura punk rock, hardcore, heavy metal, música experimental e stoner rock. A banda era uma das bandas prediletas do músico grunge Kurt Cobain, falecido líder do Nirvana. A banda lançou vários álbuns, EP's e compactos. Da parceria com o cantor Mike Patton, nasceu a gravadora Ipecac Recordings, gravadora especializada em bandas experimentais.
