Biografia:
Melissa Auf Der Maur nasceu no dia 17 de Março de 1972, em Montreal (Canadá). Ela é baixista de Rock Alternativo, e sua carreira inclui 5 anos na banda Hole, e posteriormente com The Smashing Pumpkins.
Além de baixista, Melissa é fotógrafa formada na Concordia University e fala fluentemente a lingua francesa.
Em 2004 lançou seu primeiro album solo, o "Auf Der Maur" que foi aclamado por crítica e público e contem hits como "Followed The Waves" e "Real A Lie", ambas alcançando o Top 40 no reino Unido.
