Biografia:
Após mais de 10 anos com a banda The Beautiful Girls, Mat Mchugh lança seu primeiro album solo - Seperatista ! Com influências de Johnny Cash e Nick Drake, Mat trilha seu caminho com seu estilo surf music e folk australiano.
Já participou de 2 apresentações no Brasil, no Festival Alma Surf, uma em 2010 com a banda The Beautiful Girls e uma em 2011 já com a carreira solo.
Vive nas praias do norte de Sydney, desde que nasceu. Seu sonho era ser surfista, recortava fotos dos surfistas profissionais favoritos e montava albuns com elas.
