Biografia:
Martin Adam Friedman, nascido em 8 de dezembro de 1962 em Washington D.C. iniciou sua carreira musical em bandas como Deuce, Hawaii e Vixe, antes de em 1987 se juntar a Jason Becker no Cacophony, onde lançou 2 álbuns: Speed Metal Symphony e Go Off!
Em 1989 juntou-se ao Megadeth, e gravou os álbuns Rust In Peace (1990), Countdown to Extinction (1992), Youthanasia (1994), Cryptic Writings (1997) e Risk (1999), além do EP Hidden Treasures (1995) e do EP Cryptic Sound (1998).
