Marcus Miller é um compositor e músico de jazz, nascido dia 14 de Junho de 1959 no Brooklyn, em New York. Ele é conhecido principalmente como um contrabaixista que tocou com vários músicos, incluindo Miles Davis e David Sanborn. Miller foi treinado classicamente como clarinetista, e toca também clarinete baixo, teclado, saxofone e guitarra, além de ser um cantor competente.
A proficiência de Miller com seu instrumento principal, o baixo elétrico, é geralmente muito bem criticada.
