Biografia:
Manowar é uma banda americana de heavy metal, formada em 1980, que tem como líderes o baixista Joey DeMaio e o vocalista Eric Adams.
Em 1980 o baixista Joey DeMaio, que fazia projeto com o vocalista Ronnie James Dio, perdeu a parceria do mesmo, pois Dio fora chamado para atuar como vocalista da banda Black Sabbath, e assim DeMaio correu em busca de uma nova formação. O Manowar lançou seu primeiro e clássico álbum em 1982. A formação na época consistia em Eric Adams (vocal)
