Biografia:
Luscious Jackson é um grupo de rock alternativo formado em 1991. O nome da banda foi inspirado em um jogador americano de basquete, Lucious Jackson.
A formação original consistia de Jill Cunniff (vocal e baixo), Gabby Glaser (vocais e guitarra), e Vivian Trimble (teclados e vocais). A baterista Kate Schellenbach se juntou a banda no meio das gravações de seu primeiro EP In Search of Manny. Com exceção de um pequeno LP de covers, a banda escreveu todo seu material próprio, a maioria escrito pelas vocalistas Cunniff e Glaser.
