Biografia:
Tudo começou em 1982, quando este cantor, compositor e músico inglês se mudou para Glasgow, na Escócia, com o intuito de estudar filosofia. Por lá, encontrou um time afiado de músicos, e montou seu próprio grupo, Lloyd Cole & The Commotions. Apenas dois anos se passaram, e já haviam lançado seu disco de estréia, o sublime Rattlesnakes .
Até 1989, mais dois álbuns, Easy Pieces (1986) e Mainstream (1988), que lhes proporcionaram fãs nos quatro cantos do mundo
