Biografia:
Sob o nome de batismo Kang Yoon-sung, K é um cantor coreano que foi influenciado pela música gospel e R&B desde a infância, na igreja local em Seoul. Com performances no piano e vocal, foi descoberto por um produtor musical na igreja que frequentava.
K iniciou sua carreira na Coréia em 2004 como um cantor alternativo e estreou no ano seguinte em território japonês cantando na língua local e fazendo parte de trilhas sonoras para novelas japonesas (J-Dramas).
