Biografia:
Lightspeed Champion é o projeto musical do ex-Test Icicles Devonte Hynes. O som é diferenciado de sua banda anterior e é uma mistura de elementos de diversos gêneros musicais. O nome vem de uma série de histórias em quadrinhos que Hynes costumava desenhar nos seus cadernos de matemática.
Quando a banda acabou Dev Hynes resolveu dar uma outra direção para o seu som, daí começou a trabalhar em músicas mais pro folk e com um certo apelo pop.
