Biografia:
Judy garland iniciou muito cedo sua carreira: aos 6 anos participava de um grupo com suas irmãs (The gumm sisters); sua família fazia parte do teatro musical.
Estrelou alguns filmes com Mickey Rooney, quando começou a ser notada pelo público, mas o sucesso absoluto viria com O mágico de Oz. Impossível ouvir Over the Rainbow sem ligar com a imagem da Dorothy, a mocinha que busca um espaço no mundo, e quer ser aceita como é e que descobre, após uma grande aventura que não há lugar melhor que seu próprio lar.
