É o autor de êxitos como "Let Love Rule" (1989), "It Ain't Over Till It's Over"(1991), "Are You Gonna Go My Way" (1993), "Fly Away" (1998) e "Again" (2000).E participou em alguns filmes como "Hunger Games 1&2" e "Precious".
