Biografia:

Laura Veirs cresceu em Colorado Springs, Colorado, onde ela costumava passar os verões acampando com a família, o que à inspirou em muitas composições. Veirs certa vez revelou que não escutava realmente músicas até os 20 anos de idade; ao ivés, ela apenas ouvia o que estava ao seu redor. Ela escutava folk, country, clássica e pop durante sua juventude.
