Laura Mvula (nascida Laura Douglas) é uma cantora e compositora de soul music nascida em Birmingham, Reino Unido. Seu debut album Sing to the Moon foi produzido por Steve Brown e lançado dia 4 de Março de 2013.
Mvula cresceu nas periferias de Selly Park e Kings Heath em Birmingham, Inglaterra, com seus dois irmãos mais novos, e foi influenciada pela banda de garotas Eternal. Em 2005, Mvula cantou junto com o Black Voices, um grupo a cappella formado por sua tia.
