Biografia:
Laura Gibson é uma cantora/compositora folk de Portland, Oregon, porém cresceu em Coquille, Oregon.
Ela atualmente grava para um selo independente chamado, Hush Records. Em 2008, fez turnê pelos EUA abrindo para Colin Meloy.
Trabalhou com muitos outros músicos, incluindo Laura Veirs, Danny Seim e Rachel Blumberg, atual membro da The Decemberists. Gibson também colaborou com The Portland Cello Project.
É também formada na Linfield College.
