Vinda direto da Nova Zelândia, Philippa Pip Brown (mais conhecida atualmente como Ladyhawke) é a mais nova sensação do revival oitentista, que se recusa a ir embora. Ladyhawke, ou a mulher falcão, entrou no mundo da música quando tinha 11 anos, influenciada por sua casa cheia de músicos: o padastro é um baterista de jazz e a mãe uma cantora.
