Biografia:
A banda canadense Kittie foi formada em 1996 pelas irmãs Morgan (vocal e guitarra) e Mercedes Lander (bateria) e Fallon Bowman (guitarra). Mercedes e Fallon se conheceram nas aulas de ginástica em 1996 e juntamente com Morgan começaram os ensaios fazendo covers de Nirvana e Silverchair. "Eu cresci muito com tudo isso" diz Mercedes. Fallon completa: "Eu encontrei uma música legal tocando com elas". A banda precisaria de uma baixista, e foi assim que chamaram Tanya Candler.
