Kelly Brianne Clarkson (nascida em 24 de abril de 1982) é uma cantora, compositora e atriz estadunidense. Natural de Fort Worth, ela venceu a primeira temporada do programa musical American Idol em 2002 e lançou sua carreira musical após a competição. O primeiro single de Clarkson, "A Moment Like This", atingiu o primeiro lugar nos Estados Unidos. O álbum de estreia da cantora, Thankful, de 2003, vendeu mais de quatro milhões de cópias mundialmente e inclui o single de sucesso internacional "Miss Independent".
