Biografia:
Julia Holter é uma artista de Milwaukee, Wisconsin, onde nasceu no dia 18 de dezembro de 1984 e morou até se mudar para Los Angeles, Califórnia, aos 6 anos com sua família. Ela estudou música na University of Michigan e conquistou um diploma em composição, mas depois de assistir a uma performance de arranjo avant-garde de Michael Pisaro, ela ficou inspirada para participar de um outro programa de composição com ele na California Institute of the Arts.
