Biografia:
Joy Division foi uma banda de post-punk formada no ano de 1976, em Manchester, Inglaterra. As atividades da banda encerraram em 18 de maio de 1980 após o suicídio do vocalista e guitarrista ocasional, Ian Curtis. Tinha também como integrantes Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook e Stephen Morris, que, após o término da banda, formaram o New Order.
Com uma forte influência na cultura punk de 1977 misturado com outros conceitos artísticos, Joy Divison foi uma banda que caracterizava-se por densas melodias
