Biografia:
Jamiroquai é uma banda britânica liderada pelo cantor inglês Jason "Jay Kay" Cheetam.
A banda é popular no mundo todo e é o membro mais conhecido do "acid jazz", movimento londrino do início dos anos 90; junto a outros grupos como Incognito, The Brand New Heavies, Galliano e Corduroy.
O nome Jamiroquai é derivado do nome da tribo Iroquoi (nativos norte-americanos), com os quais Jay Kay diz se identificar filosoficamente, combinado à expressão 'Jam' (como em Jam Session), do idioma inglês.
